By accessing or using any part of our website or Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using our Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use our Services. If under 18, you may only use our Services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

3. Account Registration

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and update it as necessary. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account details.

4. Use of Services

Tech Start Academy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

  • Use our Services for illegal purposes.
  • Interfere with the functionality of our Services.

5. Course Enrollment and Payments

  • Course Fees: Fees are listed on our website and subject to change.
  • Payment: All payments must be made through the available methods on our website and are final unless stated otherwise in our refund policy.

6. Refund Policy

  • Full Refund: Available if you withdraw within 7 days of the start date, minus a $60 administrative fee.
  • Partial Refund: Available after 7 days but before the end of the course, minus a $60 administrative fee and $38 for each course day.
  • No Refund: No refund is provided after the course is completed or the full duration has passed.

Refunds will be processed within 15 business days. To withdraw, submit a written notice to hello@techstartacademy.io.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, including courses, materials, and resources, is the intellectual property of Tech Start Academy or its licensors. You may not use any content from our Services without written permission.

8. User-Generated Content

Any content you post grants Tech Start Academy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use it in connection with our Services. You represent that your content does not violate any third-party rights.

9. General Overview of Training Program

  1. The training provided simulates real-world projects and benefits students through participation in teams.
  2. Students work under the supervision of Mentors and do not displace regular employees.
  3. Students’ activities do not provide immediate or direct advantage to the projects.
  4. Students are not entitled to jobs after the internship and are free to seek employment elsewhere.
  5. Students do not receive wages and are not considered employees.
  6. Training is supervised by knowledgeable individuals and is not customized for specific projects.
  7. Students do not receive employment benefits, such as health insurance or pensions.
  8. The screening process for students differs from standard employee hiring.
  9. The goal is education and hands-on experience rather than direct employment.

10. Tuition Payment Schedule

Total tuition costs depend on the program track and are listed on our payment page. Prices may change.

11. Financial Aid & Loans

Tech Start Academy is not accredited, and federal/state financial aid is not available. Students are responsible for repaying any loans or credit card debt used to pay for tuition.

12. Termination

We may terminate your access to our Services at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms.

13. Disclaimers

Our Services are provided “as is” without warranties. We do not guarantee that our Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

14. Limitation of Liability

Tech Start Academy, its directors, employees, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Tech Start Academy from any claims arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

16. Modifications to Services and Terms

We reserve the right to modify any part of our Services or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
