Welcome to the Tech Sales Course, an intensive and comprehensive program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the fast-paced world of tech sales. Over the course of several weeks, you will dive deep into various aspects of tech sales, from understanding the foundational concepts to mastering advanced sales techniques. Our expert instructors, industry veterans, and hands-on projects will ensure that you are well-prepared to thrive in your tech sales career.

This sales bootcamp combines practical technical skills with top sales methodologies, equipping students to launch a career in technical sales. Graduates are prepared for roles such as:

Sales Development Representative (SDR) – $70K+/year

Commercial Account Manager – $90K+/year

Customer Success Manager (CSM) – $85K+/year

The specific role will depend on each student’s previous experience and background.

  • A tech-savvy individual with hands-on experience.
  • A well-connected candidate with a strong network and the ability to effectively sell themselves.

We expect active participation and dedication. It won’t be easy—you’ll need to step out of your comfort zone—but we’ll be there to guide and support you every step of the way (including pulling you our of your comfort zone 🙂 ).

Your main instructors:

  • Max Kitaigora, VP of Strategic Projects at Orion Innovation (a 7,000-employee company owned by JP Morgan Chase). He has built teams of up to 400 employees, led technology sales projects worth up to $10M, and hired and trained sales teams. Your lead instructor.
  • Maria Kitaigora, Strategic Enterprise Sales at AWS, former VP of Sales and sales leader in multiple Bay Area startups. A mentor at First Round Capital and Techstars, and an advisor to three startups, helping founders scale sales from 0 to multimillion-dollar revenue. Your side mentor.

Course program

Week 1 

Sales: Building Playbook – 2H + homework

Tech: SaaS Setup; Shopify + CPB SaaS App Overview. Hosting Infrastructure;  Other Tools / Apps Used in a SaaS; Jira / Youtrack / Zendesk / Google Cloud Platform; Gitlab (recording & Q/A session). Custom vs Default. – 2H

Week 2 

Sales: Creating Outbound Sequence – 2H+ homework

Tech: Development process and tools overview. What does the development process look like, what tools are used for that, and what parts of the software stack are there – 2H

Week 3 

Sales: Prospecting into large enterprises – 2H + homework

Tech: AI Intro – what is ML, how does the process look like, what ML models are there – Boulat 

Week 4 

Sales: Sales Process and Customer Discovery – 2H+ homework

Tech: UX/UI Introduction I. Concepts. Basics. Simple Figma Layout Desktop, HTML / CSS I: Dev Tools. Desktop & Mobile Development

Week 5 

Sales: Sales Presentation – 2H+ homework

Tech: JavaScript I: Learning the basics of JavaScript, a programming language that makes web pages interactive.

Week 6 

Sales: Customer Meetings Practice and Cold calling – 2H+ homework

Tech: Cloud Solution Overview I. Kubernetes. Docker. GCP.

Week 7 

Sales: CV and Sales Interview – 2H+ homework

Tech: Introduction to Customer Support in a SaaS Application

Week 8 – Week 12 

Startup practice + 1H weekly progress check with your teacher or your mentor

Course price:

$3,000/ 3 months

We are not offering a paid internship at this time, as not all interns have gained the necessary experience to effectively position themselves during their job search. Instead, we will focus the entire group on one startup to focus on the learning.

However, we have a pool of startups regularly seeking support and would be happy to connect them with our top-performing students for internship opportunities.
